FOUR EGYPTIAN TURQUOISE AND CREAM GLAZED COMPOSITION 'SONS OF HORUS' LATE NEW KINGDOM, CIRCA 1000 B.C. Comprising each of the Four Sons, Imsety (human-headed), Hapy (baboon-headed), Duamutef (jackal-headed), and Qebehsenuef (falcon-headed), each wearing a tripartite wig, broad collar and 'floral ribbons' hanging down, the details in dark brown glaze, each standing on a small mat, with cut-away attachment loop on reverse at head and feet, one repaired 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high av. (4)
