Includes: Winner Take Nothing. Original black cloth, gilt paper cover and spine labels, top edge stained red. Some wear to cloth and labels, top corners lightly bumped, some fraying to cloth at top edge. 1933. For Whom the Bell Tolls. Original tan cloth, first state dust jacket. Wear and some rubbing to jacket, with some loss at head of spine, some small abraded areas on rear panel with loss to color. Some spotting to cloth, darkening to spine; browning to endpapers, light creasing to pp. 279-280. 1940. For Whom the Bell Tolls. Original tan cloth, second state dust jacket. With decorative bookplate of Pauline E. Gemmill. Wear and rubbing to jacket, with small chips and tears to edges, large piece missing at bottom of spine, light spotting to cloth, darkening to spine; front hinge cracked, browning to endpapers. 1940. Across the River and Into the Trees. Black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, illustrated jacket. First State. Jacket price clipped. Wear to jacket with small chips and closed tears along edges, a few tape repairs to blank backside, light wear to cloth. 1950.
