Four Japanese ivory netsuke, 19th Century the first of the Shichifukujin in the takarabune, the bow of the ship formed as a ho-o, a minogame attempting to board the boat from out of the swirling waters below, signed Ikkosai; a Sambuso dancer with fan and tall hat, a seated figure playing a hand drum, both signed Komin; and a man sitting and holding an oversized vegetable, signed Tomokaza -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high max. (4)
