Linocuts Include: Zinfandel. Two-color linocut. 50x34 cm (19¾x13½"). No. 37 of an edition limited to 77 copies. Signed by Henry Evans, dated 1969. Grass. Linocut. No. 250 of an edition limited to 450 prints. Signed by Henry Evans. 51x33 cm (20x13"). [Grapevine] printed in green. Linocut. 40.7x29.8 cm (16x11¾"). Signed by Henry Evans, dated 1965. (Some sunning to image area, small chip at lower right corner).. [Grapevine] printed in dark blue. Linocut. Sheet: 42.5x30.6 cm (16¾x12"); matted: 45.8x30.8 cm (18x12"). Signed by Henry Evans, dated 1965. (Some sunning to image area). Presented with Folding broadside invitation over botanical linocut signed by Henry Evans and a second folding broadside announcing publication of State Flowers of the United States of America. Also included are 2 copies of the 1966 catalog for An Exhibition of Botanical Linocuts by Henry Evans 6 November 1966 to 25 March 1967 at the Hunt Botanical Library in Pittsburgh, PA - one copy is signed with an inscription "For the Wilcoxes". George Wilcox had learned letterpress under Henry Evans and went on to become a publisher of botanical prints under the imprint Hybrid Press. In addition are 12 postcard invitations for various events hosted by Henry Evans.
