Alan Bean Four images taken during the first and second EVAs: 1) Charles Conrad stands beside the U.S. flag after it was unfurled during the first EVA (BLACK NUMBERED NASA AS12-47-6897) 19 November 1969 2) Charles Conrad at the ALSEP's Central Station releasing the antenna gimbal assembly. In the foreground is the magnetometer, which Alan Bean will deploy next [NASA photo no AS12-47-6919] 3) Photo from a panoramic sequence. Charles Conrad working at the Lunar Module during first EVA.
