"The Visit Palestine poster was made in 1936 for the Tourist Development Association of Palestine by Franz Krausz, an Austrian Jewish immigrant to Palestine in the 1930s who fled Germany before the Holocaust. Krausz designed graphics for commercial advertising and posters for Zionist organizations in Palestine, and also in Israel after 1948. Two versions of Visit Palestine were produced, one in blue and orange tints, and another in black and orange tints" (Visit Palestine pp. 47-48). The poster was reprinted in 1995 as a run of 1000, with permission from the artist. This is the original blue-tinted version. Krausz p. 57 (var).
