A collection of autograph letters signed by artists, architects and illustrators including Eugène BOUDIN (to a friend, Paris, 21 February [18]75, commiserating on the illness of a member of his family and offering advice including taking 'fortifiants', 'bouillon' and Bordeaux wine, 3 pages, 8vo (waterstains)); Félix VALLOTTON (to an unidentified correspondent, Honfleur, 26 July 1912, 'La peinture comme toute chose a sa période de jeunesse, son plein eclat, sa vieillesse et sa mort', and commenting on art generally, 2½ pages, 8vo ); Théodore ROUSSEAU (autograph letter to 'Monsieur' [an unidentified patron or critic?], n.p., n.d., announcing an exhibition of his paintings and studies and asking for his influential support); Maurice UTRILLO (autograph letter to his wife Lucie Valore Utrillo, a painter, Angoulême, 12 November 1930, 'Je travaille comme je peux à ma peinture, enfin pour le mieux...'); others by Maurice LELOIR (to a friend, including 8 small caricatures in pen and ink, 3 pages, 8vo ); Alfred Philippe ROLL (to an unidentified correspondent, sending photographs illustrating the lives of workers); Judith PENTHIER (two autograph letters signed to 'Mignonne', n.p.
