Document, partly printed and accomplished in manuscript, broadsheet, [Boston, 1763], “Pay-Roll of the Company of His Majesty’s Service, Under the Command of James Sayward Esqr, Captain,” with extensive later 18th century marginalia, including some quaint Revolutionary War era doggerel. 2. Half of a Document Signed by Thomas Pownall (“T Pownall”) as Governor, 13 by 8 ¼ inches, Boston, 1760, appointing “Seward” as Lieutenant. 3. Letter Signed of Johnson Moulton, 1 p, folio (with conjoining address leaf), Halifax, November 27, 1761, to James Sayward discussing the likelihood of disbanding his Regiment. 4. Manuscript Document, 1 p, folio, Halifax, October 18, 1762, “Proceedings of a Garison Court Martial … Capt. Sayward President.” 5. Manuscript Orders of Colonel Hoar, 2 pp recto and verso, 4to, August 27, 1762. 6. Manuscript Plan, broadsheet, [1777], showing the division of land from the estate of John Milberry, with Jonathan Sayward being allotted a parcel. Condition varies, generally very worn, fragmented and taped, sold with all faults.
