French Provincial Fruitwood Armoire early 19th century, with an in-carved star on the frieze below the crown molding, the doors with shaped panels, the scalloped base with a carved fan and raised on cabriole legs with scrolled toes. h. 91-1/2", w. 59", d. 26"
In good, clean condition. The left door has had wooden braces added to the back side to prevent warping. Both doors drag somewhat due to wear to the hinges. This can be fixed either by repositioning the hinges or adding washers. Very warm finish with a good, pleasing patina. Lacking key.
