He wears his official costume, a costume of the highest dignitaries of the Qing dynasty, a precious dragon robe of dark blue silk, satin and brocade with a stiff lingtou collar. At chest level, his badge of rank is artfully embroidered on a square mandarin cloth. On his head he wears a mandarin winter hat of silk and mink. The tip of the hat is crowned by a precious ruby.
