The handbook gives an overview of the Gemini Program, covers the Titan rocket history, Titan launch vehicle systems, pre-flight checkout, countdown and flight sequence, system details, launch complex 19, the Gemini spacecraft, and ends with information on rendezvous and docking. A section devoted to the Gemini astronauts dedicates to each a one-page feature, including the back-up astronauts and the loss of the original prime crew members of Gemini 9 – Elliot See and Charles Bassett.
