A Sedgewick, M.A F.R.S. & M.G.S. Woodwardian Professor and Fellow of Trinity College, titled 'On the Association of Trap Rocks with the Mountain Limestone Formation in High Teesdale, from the transactions of the Cambridge Philosophical Society', printed Cambridge 1824, in original paper wrappers, string bound (string loose), quarto, 55 pages with 4 plates, one titled 'Map Shewing the extent of the trap on the banks of the Tees'; and, a small extract from a journal titled Notes on the History of English Geology, William Henry Fitton, M.D. F.R.S. with a folded plate showing Smiths section of England and Wales from Snowdon to London dated 1817 (3)
