GEORGE III (1738-1820); JOHN WILKES (1727-97); and others A 60ll. autograph album, containing the first page only of a manuscript document, signed George R at the head, authorising George Rose and Lord Charles Henry Somerset,' Joint Paymaster General of Our Guards ', to make out debentures for ' the Pay of Our 14th Regiment of Foot agreeably to the amount borne on the Establishment from 25th December 1791 to 24th December 1792, charging thereon the sum of Eleven thousand, eight hundred ninety three pounds ....', laid down on two leaves; also including an oath of deposition, dated 14th November 1774, counter-signed by John Wilkes ' Mayor ' at the foot, laid down; and a substantial collection of autographs of early 19th century aristocrats, statesmen and military figures, most on envelope fronts, including Robert Peel
