Signed lower right, "Vincent Clare." Site: 8.5"H x 12.5"W; Frame: 13.5"H x 17.5"W. Vincent Clare (British 1855-1930) was a member of the Clare family of painters, father George and brother Oliver, all noted as very fine Victorian still life artists. Provenance: Estate of Mrs. W. A. "Betty" Criswell, Dallas, Texas. Circa - 1900.
