Giovanni Battista Piranesi Veduta dell'Anfiteatro Flavio, detto il Colosseo. Veduta dell'Arco di Constantino. 2 Radierungen von Giovanni Battista Piranesi Rom 1757 und 1771 (Ausgabe Paris 1835-39 und später). 44 : 71 cm und 48 : 73 cm. Ansichten des Kolosseums und des Konstantinbogens, zwei der bekanntesten Motive aus Piranesis großer Vedutenfolge von Rom. Späte Abzüge auf Velin für die Pariser Edition bei Firmin-Didot- die Ansicht vom Kolosseum zusätzlich mit Blindstempel der Regia Calcografia di Roma im unteren Rand der Platte. - ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt und tlw. etwas stockfleckig. Unter Passepartout und Glas gerahmt, nicht geöffnet. LITERATUR: Hind 57, IV (von 4) und Hind 97, III (von 3) mit allen Nummern. From the Paris edition 1835-39, the etching of the Colosseum also with blindstamp "Regia Calcografia di Roma" (around 1870) in the lower margin of the plate. - Slightly tanned and partly foxed. Matted and framed, unopened.
