Der Spieler ist auf einem Stuhl nach links sitzend wiedergegeben, in seinen Händen hält er die Mandoline. Er ist nach Art der höfischen Musikanten mit rotem, reich besticktem Mantel bekleidet und trägt einen Dreispitz.
