Sehr schön gedruckt und ungewöhnlich reich ausgestattet mit runden Diagrammen in Holzschnitt, von denen die meisten mit beweglichen Zeigern und Skalen versehen sind. Die Sternbilder in origineller und lebendiger Darstellung innerhalb der Koordinaten. Enthält ferner eine Weltkarte in zwei blattgroßen Hemisphären-Holzschnitten (Shirley 160). - Ohne die Volvelle für das Diagramm auf S. 171. Mit dem Einschaltblatt S. 280/281, der Falttabelle Canon Sexagenarius , und dem Erratabl. mit Buchbinderanweisung am Schluß. - Äußere Ränder gering stockfleckig oder schmal wasserrandig, erste 2 Bll. deutlicher; Titel mit verwischtem Stempel (unleserlich), Deckel leicht konvex gewölbt, Rückenschild und Deckelbezug tls. mit leichten Randläsuren. Insgesamt gutes, innen sauberes Exemplar mit kräftigen Abdrucken der Holzschnitte , in dieser Erhaltung und Vollständigkeit sehr selten. Finely printed and vividly illustrated with 48 full-page woodcuts of constellation figures and 96 full-page woodcut diagrams with 72 volvelles (of 73), all are mounted; further with folding table and 1 small woodcut printer's device on title. 17th cent. half vellum with label. - Outer margins with minor foxing or small waterstaining (first 2 leaves somewhat stronger), blurred stamp on title. Boards slightly bowed convex, label and paper covering partly with small defects. Else fine and clean copy with strong impressions of the beautiful woodcuts, with the extra leaf p. 280/281 and the errata leaf incl. binder's instruction. In this condition and completeness very rare.
