A highly informative pamphlet, offering instruction in breaking colts, shoeing, horse diseases, etc., and ten pages about training and doctoring one's dogs. This precedes the larger version of Gleason's Horse Book issued in 1892, and it is as scarce as that book is common: OCLC locates no copies of this edition. Lot Amendments Condition: A little chipping to the wrappers and spine; pencil scribbles on title-page, pencil inscription on its verso; else very good. Item number: 184900
