PRESENTATION COPY, the front free endpaper inscribed, "To Mrs Talbot from Robert Gibbings March 1932." 'Mrs Talbot' was the mother of wood-engraver Viva Talbot (1900-83) who was Robert Gibbings' pupil in the early 1930s.
