Golden leather boxing glove produced by Everlast for the promotion of the match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier which took place on March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York, with Ali's handwritten signature on the yellow patch of the brand. Magnificent and very rare memorabilia of the greatest boxing champion of all time, one of the most loved and admired athletes in history, a souvenir of a match by the most defined "Fight of the Century", a titanic challenge between two completely different styles, the elegance versus brute force, an epic battle that ended with a points victory for the opponent and with both contenders in the hospital. Provenance: Ezio Scimè Gianni Minà was the Rai correspondent to tell what would soon become the meeting of the century for everyone, and he had appointed Scimè, his friend, as sound engineer for the interview. From that moment they entered into Ali's good graces and even got two front-row tickets (A front-row seat was sold for at least $ 150, which today would be more than 900) Front row owners received a replica of the Everlast glove as a gift. In 1978 Minà managed to bring Ali to Milan, for his Blitz broadcast, on that occasion Scimè made him sign the glove he had jealously kept over the years but he immediately realized that the "Great", signing the glove, had a trembling hand, were the first signs of Parkinson.
