(Occasional very light spotting.) Contemporary green morocco gilt, g.e. (joints and head and foot of spine a trifle scuffed). Second edition. A FINE COPY. The first edition was published in 1835-1838, but this is essentially a completely new work: the text was re-written, the species figured in the first edition were re-drawn and it includes 12 new species.
