GREEK CERAMIC VESSELS Circa 860-700 BC. A pair of Greek ceramic vessels comprising: a terracotta bowl with moulded egg-and-reel decoration around the equator and eight palmettes rising from the basal ring, with traces of surface coloration; a shallow skyphos with round-section D-shaped handles attached below the rim, and wide basal ring, with much of the original red-brown slip remaining. Ceramic, bowl: 140 grams, 108 mm at rim; skyphos: 95 grams, 97 mm at rim. Very fine condition, slight crack to rim of the bowl. [2] Provenance Ex Pullen collection.
