The meetings of the Peel Commission - a British Royal Commission of Inquiry, appointed to investigate the causes of the Arab general strike in Mandatory Palestine - were held in Jerusalem in 1936. Due to the fact that photographs were not permitted in the meetings, the artist Grete Wolf-Krakauer was invited to draw the participants. Total of 9 drawings + 5 additional items.
