Grigori Ivanov Serebrianikov (, Moscow 1753) A Russian Rococo silver bowl, of round octagonal form, alternating panels with chased and embossed scrolls and rocailles, spreading base. Grigori Ivanov Serebrianikov, presumably assay mark Cyrillic MG, Moscow town mark 1753. Weight c. 202 g. H. 8 cm. Diam. 12.8 cm. Provenance: The Danish Envoy and Consul General Hans Poul Hoffmeyer (1893–1962). Thence by descent with residence in Denmark, until today.
