Group of Three Chinese Pottery Articles Song Dynasty and Later Comprising a temoku style conical-form bowl covered overall with a thick black glaze falling short of the foot; water pot covered in a gray-green crackled glaze; and a Jun type bowl with rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly incurved and gilt rim, covered overall in a gray-green glaze with golden brown crackle. Diameter of largest 3 1/2 inches. C The Estate of Baron Pierre DeMenasce
temmoku style bowl- firing crack to exposed base within foot rim that goes through body and glaze on interior of bowl base. If held up to light can see through it. Water pot- very small shallow chip to foot rim. Jun bowl- Gilt rim. one side half way down body with small surface glaze chip and small spots of kiln grit under the glaze going towards the foot. Unglazed foot with a few minute chips. Very nice glaze.
