Group of Western bronzes and candlesticks Print Seven pieces: Harold T. Holden (b. 1940 Kremlin, OK), ''Scratch'', seated bull, signed, dated, numbered and with copyright symbol on the vertical base edge: HT Holden 2004 / 18/50, bronze with medium brown patina, 2.5'' H x 2'' W x 3.25'' D; D. Michael Thomas (b. 1954 Buffalo, WY), Buffalo skull, signed and dated on the underside: D.M. Thomas 95, bronze with greenish gold patina, 4'' H x 4.5'' W x 1.5'' D; George Phippen (1915-1966 Skull, AZ), Calf with Cooke family branding iron, signed and indistinctly inscribed on the base: Geo Phippen CA, stamped on the vertical base edge: 032, bronze with medium brown patina, 3'' H x 8'' W x 7.5'' D; 20th Century American saddle sculpture, unsigned, stamped with number: 20/250, painted metal, 3'' H x 6.5'' W x 6.5'' D; 20th Century American longhorn steer tack hanger, stamped with signature and date on the base: F. Parlet 1998, bronze with brown patina mounted with an iron horseshoe, 12.5'' H x 14'' W x 10'' D; and a pair of horse head metal candlesticks, unmarked, each: 9.5'' H, seven pieces, Provenance: Estate of Phoebe Hearst Cooke, Paso Robles, CA. Condition: Holden, Thomas and Phippen sculptures in generally good condition. Minor dust accumulation in the crevices. Saddle with chipping and losses to the edges throughout, particularly on the cantle and stirrups. Parlet tack hanger with rust on the horseshoe, dirt accumulation in the crevices. Roughly cast. Candlesticks with minor chips, scuffs and wax accumulation.
