Frankfurt: Portikus, 1995. 3 parts comprising: 2 vols, 4° (265 x 240mm), one of these with 30 colour photographic reproductions, in the original silver wrappers, and one oblong colour print (475 x 260mm) in the original silver card portfolio, the whole laid-into the original silver cardboard box (box with light wear). Provenance : Andreas Gursky (signed on a leaf mounted on the verso of the print). FIRST EDITION OF A LIMITED ISSUE SIGNED BY THE ARTIST of an all-encompassing study of one of Paris's modernist landmarks. The limitation of the signed issue is unknown but is believed to be less than 100 copies. Auer, p.724; The Photobook , vol. II, p.275.
