The greater part of the work comprises a history of the wars between Turkey and Hungary and the recent Venetian-Turkish campaigns in southern Greece from 1684 to 1688, but it also contains 'curious representations of the aborigines of America, all with detailed descriptions of their manners, customs, religion'.
