Hayek, Friedrich August economist and political philosopher, 1899-1992).- Buckley Jr. (William F.), Gottfried Dietze, Ronald Max Hartwell and others. Essays on Hayek, edited by Fritz Machlup, Foreword by Milton Friedman, inscribed presentation copy from Hayek signed "Father" to Laurence and Esca Hayek, paperback, edges rubbed, 8vo, Michigan, Hillsdale College Press, 1976. ⁂ Inscription reads: "To Larry and Esca these essays, though largely by friends and therefore excessively kind, will give you a fairly good idea of the various directions of my interests. I still have not read them all - this has to be taken in small dose, but I expect the facts are all correct - and the bibliography I find myself useful to remind me of things I had forgotten. Dartmouth, 30 August 1976."
