First Edition. A rare and charming book devoted to golf hazards; this being only the third copy of the first edition offered at auction in the past twenty-five years, according to ABPC auction records. Murdoch 44; D&M 6320; D&J B8890. "Adirondack Library" of New York rubberstamped on front free endpaper and rear pastedown (no other markings); address label of Amedeo Micone (New Jersey) on front pastedown. Lot Amendments Condition: Light dampstains and very tiny white dots to upper front cover, mild soiling, spine ends and corners a bit bumped; front hinge cracked (nearly through), rear hinge only tender; about very good.
