Small 4° (182 x 133mm). Collation: A-Z 4 a-d 4 e 6 . Woodcut titleborder [McKerrow & Ferguson 50]. (Lacking leaf Y2; final leaf inlaid, possibly from another copy.) 19th-century calf. Provenance : Bute bookplate. STC 5169 William CRASHAW. A manuall for true Catholicks, or a handfull or rather a heartfull of holy meditations and prayers . [Partly in Latin and English verse]. London: printed for Leonard Becket, 1622. 12° (115 x 65mm). Collation: D-H 1 2 . (Lacking Latin sub-title D1.) 19th-century morocco gilt. Provenance : Cardiff Castle bookplate. STC 1909.7 (recording 4 copies, including the present). This volume is however only the second part, with separate title of the 'Dialogue betwixt the soule and the body' ascribed to St.Bernard. And 5 other volumes (STC 928; 4405; 17448; 20788; 20843); and an imperfect copy of the Barker 1600 4° Bible (Herbert 257). All somewhat imperfect and sold not subject to return. (8)
