Along with the blue version, Heuer also released the model in red and 'fume'. The current lot is a great example of the red Silverstone with the vivid hue of the dial offering a real coup for collectors. Despite their extensive catalogue of models it is only the Silverstone that Heuer ever produced with this colour dial. As a model the Silverstone had a short product life cycle and after three years of production it was last shown in the 1977 catalogue.
