Contemporary quarter cloth and boards, printed paper spine labels (rebacked with old spines laid down, chipping to spine labels). Provenance : Horace Edwin Heyden (1837-1917) American book collector and historian (signature, dated 1850, his sale Henkels, Philadelphia, 16 October 1907, lot 355). FIRST EDITION.
