(11 3/8 x 7 3/16 in.), contemporary calf over pasteboard, covers panelled in blind, spine in six compartments, later morocco lettering-piece in the second, the remainder gold-tooled, board edges ruled in gilt, edges red-sprinkled, spine linings from a sixteenth-century printed liturgical text, head of spine and corners worn with loss to leather at front lower corner and head of spine, outer joints slightly worn, covers shellacked, fore-edge and lower turn-ins renewed, leather along upper board edges cracked and torn in spite of small repairs, upper inner hinge broken, perforation to Tt4 catching 2 letters, insignificant marginal tears to 7 leaves .
