Oligocene Chiapas, Mexico A massive, superior quality blue amber gem from the famous amber mines in southern Mexico. This piece has been polished on one side and consists of primarily crystal blue with inclusions of plant material. Mexico is one of only two places on Earth that produce the highly sought after blue amber. Large specimens, such as this piece, are exceptionally rare and valued by collectors.
