Deleuze (1753-1835), librarian of the Jardin des Plantes and a leading figure in the "animal magnetism" movement, one addressed to a Professor Schultz, one to the sculptor David, one to M. de Grent at Bourges, and one to an unnamed count who had supported him, mostly 12mo, but six 8vo and three 4to, 27 pages written; formerly folded, a few remnants of album mounting, two lightly browned, one with clean tear through address, one cockled from damp.
