Mother and Child: Paper is slightly toned. Few water stains, including two at the left center edge as well as the bottom right. Minor spots of foxing. Not yet examined out of the frame. Reclining Boy: There is another sketch of a seated boy on the verso, also done in sanguine. Paper is glued to a second piece of paper along the left edge which is in turn taped to the mat along the upper edge. Toned. Scattered areas of foxing, particularly along the edges. Minor wera long the edges. Condition commensurate with age.
