IACOVLEFF, Alexandre (1877-1938). Dessins et Peintures d'Afrique Executés au cours de l'Expédition Citroën Centre Afrique . Paris: Meynial, 1927. 2º (383 x 280mm). Complete with 49 plates numbered 1-50 including one double-page. Text bound in black silk covered boards, the upper side stencilled with a design in white and red. The plates, loose as issued, together with the text volume in the original leather covered portfolio with leather ties by Félix (portfolio rubbed at the extremities, one leather tie lacking). Provenance : Alexandre Iacovleff (presentation inscription dated 1934 to:) -- Ethel Barbey, Countess of Jumilhac (author).
