IMPORTANT TAPIS DU GRAND HALL DE L'HÔTEL DE PARIS Manufacture de tapis de Daroshtareh (Deraksheh?), Naïn, Iran, vers 1960 Signé Iran - Daroshtareh (Deraksheh) Naïn, en laine et soie à nœud asymétrique dit nœud senneh ou Farsibaff, sur une fondation de coton. L.1046cm L.678cm Le décor de ce tapis, particulièrement imposant, de plus de 70 m², se compose d'une rosace centrale et d'écoinçons, se détachant sur un champ central orné de rinceaux fleuris sur fond rouge. Une bordure à décor de rinceaux sur fond crème encadre harmonieusement le champ central. Le tapis porte une inscription dans la bordure indiquant le nom de la ville où il a été tissé, à savoir Naîn, le tapis Iran, et le nom de la manufacture qui peut être lu, soit Daroshtareh, soit Deraksheh . Le nom de Naïn peut s'orthographier de plusieurs façons : Nain, Naïn (trema) ou Na'in, Naein, etc …. La ville de Naïn est située dans la province d'Isfahan ou Esfahan. Suite au déclin des tissus qui y étaient fabriqués, et au développement des tapis d'Isfahan, des ateliers de tapis y furent implantés au deuxième quart du XXème siècle. Ils connurent leur développement dans les années d'après la seconde guerre mondiale. Au dos du tapis, sur une étiquette, la date de 1962 est mentionnée. Le tapis est relativement en bon état. Compte tenu de son usage, il est resté dans un état de conservation qui peut être qualifié d'acceptable. Le tapis est vendu en l'état. Provenance: Galerie Moghadam - Carpet Couture, Monte-Carlo. L.1046cm L.678cm The decor of this particularly impressive carpet of over 70 square meters consists of a central rosette and spandrels, set against a central field decorated with floral scrolls in red. A border of foliage on cream background harmoniously frames the central field. The carpet bears an inscription along the edge indicating the name of the city where it was woven, "Naïn, Iran carpet", and the name of the factory that can be read as Daroshtareh or Deraksheh. The name of Naïn can be spelled several ways: Nain Naïn (trema) or Na'in, Naein, and others. The city of Naïn is located in the province of Isfahan or Esfahan. Following the decline of fabrics manufactured there and the development of Isfahan carpets, carpet workshops located there during the second quarter of the twentieth century. They grew considerably in the years following the Second World War. On the back of the carpet, the date "1962" is mentioned on a label. The carpet is in relatively good condition.
