"Some" copies, as here, have the plate on India paper. Both bibliographies note that the total edition was of only 250 copies. The great civil engineer, Robert Stevenson practically inaugurated the Scottish lighthouse system, and the Bell Rock lighthouse is one of his finest and most remarkable achievements.
