INDIA & PAKISTAN – Lovett’s Armies & India & Military Books on India The Armies of India painted by Major AC Lovett, described by Major G F Macmunn with a foreword by Earl Roberts, bound in blue decorative cloth with gilt titling and decoration to spine and front cover; top edge gilt. 224pp including index with 72 full page colour plates, including frontispiece of His Majesty, the King-Emperor. 1th Ludhiana Sikhs, various Punjab regiments, Rattrays Sikhs etc, there are also 19 smaller line drawings in the text.; the journals of major Gen C G Gordon at Kartoum printed from the original mss, by A. Egmont Hake, 1885, original red cloth with gilt, ; the India we served by Sir Walter roper Lawrence; Passing it On, short talks on tribal fighting on the north west frontier of India by genera sir Andrew skeen, 1932, (4)
