[…] His last visit in 1974 was made memorable by the ceremony of the Jawaharlal Nehru Award, the highest honour we can confer.[…] " Papier et enveloppe à l'en-tête de la " Prime Minister's House " ; cachet en cire rouge de l'ambassade d'Inde à Paris, partiellement conservé. Typed, signed letter, in English, to Sophie de Vilmorin A beautiful letter from India's Prime Minister to André Malraux's last love written three days after his death. Paper and envelope carry the Prime Minister's House's heading; red wax seal from the Indian Embassy in Paris, partially preserved.
