18th to early 20th century Comprising a bijin-ga depicting Wakamatsu and two attendants, Momiji and Nishiki from the House of Otawara, from the series Yukaku Kosode Mutamagawa (Courtesans compared to the the Six Crystal Rivers), signed Koryu ga; two aiban sheets by Hiroshige II from the series Edo Meisho Yonjyu Hakkei of Kameido Tenjin and Meguro Fudo, signed Hiroshige ga; another three sheets by Kunisada I, two okubi-e of actors enclosed within a mirror; the third of Mitsuuji and his retainers in snowscape from the series Nisemurasaki Inaka Genji; three ehon consisting of vol.3 from Hokusai's Manga, the second attribued to Maki Bokusen, titled Ukiyo Kyoga (Mad Pictures of the Floating World) and the third book attributed to Sakurai Setsuho, vol.4 entitled Wakan Gasoku depicting copies of brush stroke works of Chinese and Japanese Masters; two bookplates by Katsushika Taito; and two framed prints after Zeshin; variously signed. Oban 35½cm x 25cm (14in x 9¾in); aiban 32.2cm x 22.2cm(12¾in x 8¾in); the ehon 22½cm x 28cm (8¾in x 11in). (13).
