There is an old vertical crease to the left centre of the sheet and other minor abrasions throughout, including a diagonal abrasion to the upper right quarter. There is abundant use of white heightening throughout, some of which has experienced some losses and other areas that have partially oxidized. Overall, this large drawing remains in predominantly good condition throughout, with the image very strong and the pen and wash well preserved. Sold in a giltwood frame.
