Sheet size 190 x 12 inches [500 x 310mm.]) Breeding only in Tasmania, the endangered Swift Parrot migrates to the mainland every autumn to winter mostly in the nectar-rich box-ironbark forests and woodlands of Victoria and New South Wales.The breeding popu lation now consists of fewer than 1300 breeding pairs.
