Illustrations from photographs, etc. (8vo) 18.5x12.5 cm (7¼x5") original wrappers, illustrations mounted to front covers, all but 4 in the original glassine jackets. Housed in two blue cloth, felt-lined folding cases. Early editions. Scarce pre-war issues of this popular series of works on various aspects of Japanese culture, written for the western tourist.
