TWO PRESIDENTS REWARD A REVOLUTIONARY WAR VETERAN'S HEIRS with a land grant for seven years of service "in the Virginia Line on Continental establishment." Congress authorized the award of land grants to veterans in the area northwest of the Ohio River between the Little Miami and Sciota. Here, the heirs of Captain Leroy Edwards receive 666 2/3 acres.
