The "Golden Age of Aviation" 1919-1939 Series 2, Stearman 1929 "Speedmail" M-2 Cargo Mail Plane. Measures 17 x 12.75 in. (sight) and 25 x 20 in. with its mat. The "Golden Age of Aviation" 1919-1939 Series 2, Waco 19291-T "Tapering" Two Place Bi-plane. Measures 25 x 19 in. condition: missing its original mount and has residual glue surrounding the image. "My final year in high school, I convinced myself that, above all else, I wanted to become an artist,” wrote Jerome Biederman in the November-December 1970 issue of Horseless Carriage Gazette. Biederman built a prolific career as a pioneering artist of inventions in transportation that moved on land, air, and sea. His paintings were prominently featured in McCleery-Cumming Corporation calendars, Playboy magazine, Automobile Quarterly, and Horseless Carriage Gazette for over thirty years. Condition: Most, if not all, have soiling and toning on the mats. All images are presumably glued to the mats.
