Lot of 10 Jerome Biederman gouache watercolors including: Simplex 1909 Double Roadster. Measures 14 x 10.5 in. (sight) and 22.5 x 19.5 in. with its mat. No. 7 of the 1972 Antique Automobile Series, Rambler 1902 Runabout. Measures 14 x 4 in. (sight) and 25 x 21 in. with its mount. condition: residue with on the tape border and some toning of the paper. No. 4 of the 1972 Antique Automobile Series, Chadwick 1907 Roadster. Measures 14 x 14 in. (sight) and 24.5 x 21 in. with its mount. condition: quite a bit of damage to the margins of the paper with some adhesive residue and separation of the paper from the mount. Cadillac 1903 Tourer. Measures 14.5 x 10 in. (sight) and 23 x 19 in. with its mat. Buick 1915 Sedan-Coupe. Measures 14.5 x 11 in. (sight) and 23 x 20 in. with its mat. Lancaster 1910 Limousine. Measures 15 x 10.5 in. (sight) and 23 x 20 in. with its mat. Limobile 1906 "Old 16" Racing car. Measures 14 x 11 in. (sight) and 23 x 20 in. with its mat. condition: separation of the illustration to the mount. Packard 1912 Seven Passenger Touring. Measures 16 x 11 in. (sight) and 23 x 20 in. with its mat. Kelsey Motorette 1910 Runabout. Measures 14 x 10 in. (sight) and 23 x 20 in. with its mat. Rolls-Royce 1922 "Silverghost" Touring. 13.5 x 9 in. (sight) and 24 x 20 in. with its mat. Morris "Bill-Nose" 1913 Runabout. Measures 14 x 10 in. (sight) and 20 x 23 in. with its mat. "My final year in high school, I convinced myself that, above all else, I wanted to become an artist,” wrote Jerome Biederman in the November-December 1970 issue of Horseless Carriage Gazette. Biederman built a prolific career as a pioneering artist of inventions in transportation that moved on land, air, and sea. His paintings were prominently featured in McCleery-Cumming Corporation calendars, Playboy magazine, Automobile Quarterly, and Horseless Carriage Gazette for over thirty years. Condition: All are in excellent condition unless noted in the description all include notations on the reverse and are signed by the artist.
