JOE DIMAGGIO 1940'S YANKEE ROAD JERSEY A grey wool flannel jersey with the original Wilson Sports Equipment label in the collar and the original flannel label with DiMaggio stitched into the label in the collar, size 44. The jersey is in excellent condition and shows good game use. It is all original with no alterations of any kind. The sleeve shows remnants of the basting stitches for the memorial black band worn after Babe Ruth's death which would date the uniform 1949. One of the finest DiMaggio jersey's to ever be offered.
